Syringa x hyacinthiflora Sierra Snow

Introduced by Lammerts in 1963 with the cultivar name registered in 1967. Parentage is somewhat confused apart from the obvious S. oblata.

Pure white fragrant single flowers have relatively narrow twisted petals and appear in early season.

Typical of the hybrid it grows into a largish suckering shrub 3 x 2m.
