Bred by the Russian Kolesnikov pre-1974; the name translates to 'hope'.
Fragrant double blue flowers in midseason. Fiala rates it as amongst the best of the double blues available.
Typical of the species it grows into a largish shrub 3 x 2m and has demonstrated a tendency to sucker.
