Syringa x Sleeping Beauty

Raised by the Canadian nurseryman Frank Moro from a seedling of S. x 'Lotta', and introduced in 1996, it is another of the recently bred dwarf small-leafed repeat flowering cultivars suitable for smaller gardens.

Flowers are fragrant, single, very pale pink appearing almost near white appearing in Spring and sometimes repeats in Summer/Autumn.

'Sleeping Beauty' appears resistant to blight

Mature size of plant is expected to be 1.5 m; it has demonstrated no tendency to sucker
