Syringa x hyacinthiflora Mount Baker

Syn. 'Schneeweißchen'™

Bred by Skinner in 1961, with the name being registered in 1963. Parentage not published apart from the obvious S. oblata as one progenitor.

'Mount Baker' bears fragrant single white flowers early season.

Reported to be typical of the hybrid, growing into a largish suckering shrub 3 x 2m but local experience of this is that of a much smaller plant after several years.
