Lottah Nursery Tasmania, Australia

Syringa x hyacinthiflora California Rose

Bred by Sobeck with 'Lavender Lady' ancestry for the warmer Southern California climate; the name was registered in 1966.

This cultivar requires less winter chilling than regular vulgaris cultivars and are recommended for areas not generally known for growing lilacs successfully.

Bears very large trusses of fragrant single pink flowers in early season.

Typical of the hybrid it grows into a largish suckering shrub 3 x 2m.
